MOBILE PLANTS

hormigón y mortero

From houses to the most modern infrastructure and works of art, concrete is already an essential part of our environment.

Our concretes are made following the standards and a rigorous production process; we also have the capacity to adapt to the customer’s needs.
Depending on whether it is concrete for foundations, structures, screeds, paving or gunite, the product will be prepared and certified at the plant to ensure its perfect performance on site.

Structural concrete

Concrete for the construction of any type of structure in both building and civil works, whether reinforced, mass or prestressed concrete: columns, beams, floors, walls and enclosures.

Among its advantages are the homogeneity of results and its great resistance and durability.

Blinding concrete

This concrete is intended to prevent the structural concrete from drying out during pouring, as well as possible contamination of the concrete during the first hours of pouring.

Concrete for foundations

Ready-mixed concrete for the construction of special foundations such as piles and diaphragm walls, in which the concrete is placed by lowering it through a pipe, between reinforcement and generally below the water table.

Specially designed for applications requiring concrete with high fluidity, low risk of segregation, exudation and slump, as well as ease of placement, either directly by tremie tube or by pumping with a piling machine.

Backfill concrete

In the past, this backfilling was done by using gravel and aggregates.

Thanks to its fluidity and ease of installation, the backfill concrete penetrates easily, covering all the holes in the trench without the need for vibration or other external compaction methods, which avoids noise and the need for additional personnel. Moreover, due to its formulation, it is easy to break and excavate, which facilitates its use in all types of water, gas, telephone, etc. wire installations, as well as tanks and septic tanks.

HORMIGONES ESPECIALES

Concrete for screeds - Eiffage Infraestructuras
Decorative concrete - Eiffage Infraestructuras
Drainage concrete - Eiffage Infraestructuras
High strength concrete - Eiffage Infraestructuras

Self compacting concrete - Eiffage Infraestructuras

Concrete for screeds

Ready-mixed concrete for the construction of all types of screeds, especially those to be subjected to insulation or trowelling treatment by mechanical methods (helicopters).

Its use is also recommended for screeds to which anti-wear or aesthetic treatments (silica additions, pigments, etc.) are to be applied, as well as all types of industrial and commercial floors.

Advantages: low shrinkage minimising the risk of cracking, dosage that allows the incorporation of fibres and staples, suitable consistency to facilitate its application on site.

Decorative concrete

Within this group of concretes we include all concretes in which the visual aspect is the main characteristic:

• Deactivated concrete: prepared for different degrees of attack of the deactivating agent that give it different textures and visual appearance, and available with different sizes of aggregates, as well as with aggregates of different nature (limestone or siliceous).
• Coloured concrete: with a full range of colours for both grey and white cement.
• Architectural concrete: specially designed to enhance the surface textures that you want to give to the concrete.

Drainage concrete

Drainage or porous concrete is characterised by its granular structure composed of tiny hollows that form channels that give it a great capacity to drain or evacuate water, preventing the formation of puddles or ice on the surface of the pavement.

Potential applications:

• Sports courts.
• Car parks.
• Pedestrian areas and garden paths.
• Decorative paving.
• Drainage paving to evacuate rainwater.
• Cycle and pedestrian paths.
• Swimming pool areas.
• As a base for artificial turf.

High strength concrete

These are concretes with a compressive strength between 50 N/mm2 and 1000 N/mm2 especially suitable for special structures requiring high initial and final strengths.

High strength class cements, high quality aggregates and additives with a high fluidisation rate give this concrete a high strength and durability at the same time.

High density concrete

Concrete designed based on high-density aggregates and carefully dosed cement, water and additives that give it a high density.

It is a concrete used in shielding and radiation resistance, which makes it ideal in hospitals for their radiation chambers, as well as in nuclear power plants, both active and inactive.

Self compacting concrete

Self-compacting concrete is a type of concrete that compacts under its own weight by the action of gravity without the need for external energy, due to the properties given to it by the design of its dosage and the use of superplasticising additives, flowing between the formworks thanks to its viscosity.

Concrete of high consistency, which, without exudation of grout and avoiding the blocking of the coarse aggregate in the reinforcement, flows under the action of its own weight, completely filling the formwork without the need for external help from vibrators.

The materials that make up its composition are the same materials used for the production of conventionally compacted concretes. Self-compacting concretes are characterised by a lower content of coarse aggregate, a higher content of mineral fines and, in general, a smaller maximum aggregate size.

MORTARS

Concrete - Stabilised mortar - Eiffage Infraestructuras
Self levelling mortar - Eiffage Infraestructuras

Stabilised mortar

Wet cement mortar manufactured in a concrete plant and delivered in a truck mixer, which is characterised by the fact that it retains its properties in a fresh state for a long period of time, 12, 24 and 36 hours.
Its main use is in construction for the laying of blocks and bricks to form walls and other structures.

Self levelling mortar

Cement mortar manufactured in the plant whose main characteristic is its high fluidity which gives it a high levelling capacity, ideal for its application by pumping and easy spreading.

Its applications are screeded floors prior to the laying of paving and underfloor heating.

Our self-levelling mortars incorporate polypropylene fibres to minimise shrinkage cracking problems.

MOBILE PLANTS

In 2002, Eiffage Construcción created the mobile plant division EI Mobile Equipment (EIME) to meet the specific needs of large national and international infrastructure projects in areas such as:

◦ Concrete production

◦ Paving of concrete for pavements and roads

◦ Production and paving of asphalt

◦ Aggregate crushing and grading plants

All these services are offered in a flexible manner and adapted to the circumstances of each project.

We have carried out works in Spain, Uzbekistan, Armenia, French Guiana, France, Senegal, United Kingdom, French Polynesia, Italy, Poland, Greece, etc.
